حفاظاً على صحة وسلامة المستهلك, وتلافي تعرض المواد الغذائية المصدرة لدولة الكويت للرفض وعد السماح لها بالدخول, فان الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء تأكد على التجار المصدرين للمواد الغذائية على اهمية الالتزام باللائحة الفنية الخليجية " اشتراطات عامة لنقل وتخزين الاغذية المبردة والمجمدة" والقرار الوزاري الخاص بلائحة الاغذية الصادرة من الكويت.
