تشدد الهيئة العامة للغذاء على الالتزام بالحدود القصوى المسموح بها من بقايا المبيدات في الأغذية, وذلك في إطار المتابعة المستمرة لسلامة المنتجات الغذائية من بقايا المبيدات الواردة للملكة ومدى مطابقتها للحدود القصوى المعتمدة, وحراً على صحة وسلامة المستهلك, وتحقيقاً للمصلحة العامة وحفاظاً على رؤوس الأموال الوطنية ولتلافي تعرض تلك المنتجات للرفض وعدم السماح لها بالدخول لأسواق المملكة.
