سعياً من قطاع الدواء بالهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء في تطوير وتحديث آليات ومتطلبات تسجيل الأدوية فقد تم إيقاف العمل بما يسمى بالنشرة الداخلية (Package Insert [PI]) واستبدالها بنشرة معلومات المريض (Patient Information Leaflet [PIL]) وترفق في عبوة الدواء. واستحداث ما يسمى بملخص خواص المستحضر ( Summary of Products Characteristics [SPC]) وذلك باللغتين العربية والانجليزية.
